Michael Olsen
Michael Olsen's passion for golf began at an early age after watching Jack Nicklaus. He now spends all of his time and energy introducing juniors to golf, teaching, and playing professionally. His playing career was limited due to a knee replacement, but inspite of the physical limitations dealt him, he managed to advance to the TX/LA District Finals in the Re/Max Long Drivers of America competition with a competetive drive of 369 yards. He was awarded 'Player of the Year' honors on the American Challenge Golf Tour in 2006 with multiple tour wins and is a United States Golf Teachers Federation (USGTF) certified golf teaching professional with a wife and four children of his own. He teaches all children and adults with the same passion and enthusiasm as he does his own children who are active in junior golf themselves. His knowledge of golf as both a player and a teacher, coupled with his enthusiasm for juniors makes him a great teacher for golfers of all ages and abilities.
